The Laxminarayan Temple, (also called the Birla Mandir), in Delhi, India

  • is a temple built in honour of the Hindu goddess of wealth, Laxmi, and of her consort, Lord Vishnu– the Preserver in the TrimurtiIt is a temple with many shrines, fountains, and a large garden.
  • The temple attracts thousands of devotees on the day of Janmashtami, the birthday of Lord KrishnaThe temple was built in 1622 by Vir Singh Deo, and renovated by Prithvi Singh in 1793
  • The temple is spread over an area of 7.5 acres (30,000 m2) approx.
  • And built up area is 0.52 acres (2,100 m2)
  • you may find most of the Hindu god and goddess statues in the temple
